FTP Workshop | Hawaii Wedding Photographer

How can you describe something that is powerful, awe inspiring, inspirational and life changing in just a couple of sentences?  That’s what I’m attempting to do with this post folks, so sit back and enjoy the ride!  lol  Back in November I was given the once in a lifetime opportunity to jump on a plane and fly to Maui to meet one of the most amazing group of people I’ve ever associated myself with.  Several other wedding photographers and creative minds came together for the literally life changing Fast Track Photography workshop presented by Dane Sanders.  Dane is an individual that you are truly blessed to have in your life.  He is inspiring, gregarious, funny and challenging, all rolled up into a firecracker of a motivational package.  Over the two and a half days that we were there, Dane challenged us to forget that we were photographers, and concentrate on ourselves and individuals again.  We were asked to put ourselves in different roles of business management, really pushed to identify our strengths and weaknesses and together we all delved into the personal aspects of what is driving us to continue in this amazing industry.  I’m sure that many of you have noticed a much more personal side to my new website and blog.  My business and my branding are about ME.  I want all of my clients to really get to know who I am, and I want to know who they are.  I want to share stories and I want to make friends, and the only way I can do that is to be true to myself in the long run!  There’s no more hiding behind the camera, I’m officially putting myself out there for the world to see   Thank you so much to Dane, to the amazing creative minds that he brought with him and to the fantastic network of photographers that I’m now blessed to be a part of.  You are all awesome, and I am 100% for you!
